Who We Are

RUISKY, founder and designer, was born and raised in China, a student of dance for many years, and a pet lover. During dance, many girls fall into a fixed pattern about how to dress for dance, imitating or seeking affirmation from others. They always wear black leotard and tight, trying to look slimmer. Even though I tell them that they can look exactly the way they want and show their own charm without caring what others think. However, their lack of confidence in their bodies and dance skills seemed to keep them from ever taking the step of breaking through.

 

I believe that dance can make the body more beautiful, but also should make us more confident. Often, we just need a little bit of small change to get a different self. So, I started to choose various fabrics and accessories and hand-made dresses that can modify their figures to help them change their dance looks from the simplest places. For example, the Plus version was designed for dancers with waist circumference over 70cm or hip circumference over 95cm, so that they could get rid of the shadow of being afraid to wear skirts; the Venus style was designed for dancers with less than excellent leg length to fully display longer leg lines.

 

More and more people from different regions are slowly joining this transformation project. They were happy to get a dress that was both beautiful and suitable for them when they chose the fabric, tie and shape themselves. They started to take pictures and share them on social media to tell more people that they love dancing. They are their own unique selves. As a result, more strangers became interested in dance because of what they shared, and more parents started to choose to let their children learn ballet, which made me feel that what I have been doing is very meaningful.

 

Currently, I'm working on getting more people to learn about ballet and how to feel more confident with a dress. We offer a wider variety of fabrics and tie colors to choose from. Also, you can refer to the size chart to choose your preferred fit and size according to your body shape. If you don't get exactly the right fit the first time, don't be discouraged. We recommend that you try other styles and sizes. Because our fit has been purchased and fed back by thousands of customers, and has been continuously optimized and improved, it is relatively mature.
